It is true that a part of the human condition is experiencing challenges and barriers along our journeys in life. It is also typical that we can feel a host of things such as awkwardness, disappointment, shame, insecurity, self-doubt, and blame whenever any of these challenges interfere. In my work, I understand these reactions and I want to shift people’s focus to a non-critical acceptance and validation of any challenges so that the single priority can be finding the path forward- making positive changes because these are very realistic and sometimes need some help.
